St George's, Bickley

The picture on the right shows the High Altar at St George's Church.  The Church is situated in Bickley Park Road (A222) between Bromley and Chislehurst.

The Church is in the Diocese of Rochester, and under the pastoral care of the Bishop of Fulham.

The patron of the parish is the Society for the Maintenance of the Faith.

Although we are a parish in the Catholic tradition of the Church of England, and in membership of Forward in Faith, we do not seek to exclude anyone from worshipping with us.  Whatever your denomination or faith tradition you will be welcome in our parish family.

The church was built in 1864, and in spite of damage during World War 2 and a distastrous fire in 1989, the building is in sound condition and has a light and airy interior.  We even have an effective heating system !

There is easy access for wheelchairs and other disabled users.
